Dr. Bartholomew is a physician and an award-winning inventor who has been called a “futurist,” “thought leader,” and “visionary” throughout her 22 years of innovating and problem solving. Dr. Bartholomew, with focus and determination, aspires to relieve the trauma and burnout that our health care community is experiencing through supporting hospital leadership in a forward-thinking wellness effort.
As we are now in a critical and pivotal time in our mental health care crisis for doctors and nurses throughout the world, and as the pandemic shifts and changes, surpassing the two-year anniversary of COVID-19, new viruses emerge; hospital violence and aggression increases; stressful and awe-shaking world events continue; it is exceedingly imperative to put in place a foundation for HCW wellness within all hospital systems. As doctors and nurses continue to leave their professions due to burnout in vast numbers, communities everywhere continue to experience the reverberations of the need for a call to action.
